Yellow alerts, resembling the one displayed above, indicate difficulties in delivering emails to the provided email address. Should our emails persistently bounce back as undeliverable, we’ll cease delivery attempts for some of your notifications.
Note: Depending on the email notification preferences you’ve chosen, Werfie may send you notifications regarding account activities such as new messages, followers, or newsletters. If delivery attempts for these emails are halted, you might also miss out on crucial emails like password reset instructions.
If you encounter this yellow alert, kindly follow these steps:
- Verify your email address accuracy. Ensure that the email address linked to your account is spelled correctly. Should you need to make adjustments, you can update your email address within your account settings.
- Click on the “try sending a message again” link provided within the yellow alert. This action will prompt us to retry delivering your email. Note that if the email continues to bounce back as undeliverable, the yellow alert will reappear, indicating ongoing delivery issues.
- Access the email account associated with your Werfie account and check for correspondence from us. Additionally, search your spam, junk, or bulk mail folders, along with any filters or tabs, for Werfie emails.
- Should the issue persist, visit your account settings and substitute your email address with a new one. Ensure the new email address has never been used on any account before. We’ve observed that emails from Werfie are typically delivered without issues to prominent webmail providers like gmail.com, yahoo.com, or hotmail.com.
Note: If you accidentally clicked “This isn’t my account” in one of our emails, we’ll cease delivery attempts to that address. You’ll need to navigate to your account settings and add a new email address to your account.
Why Am I Still Unable to Receive Emails Despite Having a Valid Email Address?
Even if your email address generally receives emails without issue, your email client or ISP (internet service provider, e.g., Comcast, SBC, etc.) might be blocking or mistakenly filtering emails from Werfie as spam.
If your emails consistently bounce back as undeliverable, we won’t be able to reliably deliver important notifications to that email address. Should you wish to explore further troubleshooting with your ISP, you may consider requesting them to whitelist emails from werfie.com. Please note that we cannot retrieve bounce logs for individual emails that bounce.
Unfortunately, if a specific email provider or ISP blocks or filters our emails, we cannot resolve this issue on an individual basis. We are continuously enhancing our email delivery mechanisms and appreciate your patience during this process!
